Live Oak Resource Partners, LLC is a privately-held Houston, Texas based firm engaged, through subsidiaries and partnerships, in the acquisition of oil and natural gas royalty and mineral interests and non-operated working interest.
Since 2017, Live Oak has been financially supported by the private equity firm Trace Capital. In December 2020, Trace and Live Oak extended their partnership with the launch of Live Oak III.
Live Oak actively invests in oil and natural gas properties with a particular focus on natural gas mineral, royalty, and non-operated working interest in Texas and Louisiana.
Live Oak creates value for owners of oil and gas assets by providing liquidity for producing, minimally producing, or non-producing mineral and royalty assets. The integration of a geographically and geologically diverse portfolio allows Live Oak to provide excellent value for oil and gas rights and de-risking owners' concentrated economic exposure.
